The Reflex Practitioner program is 97 quarter credit hours (1240 clock hours). The full program is six quarters (18 months) in length; running concurrently. It consists of course material and Student Lab experience in order for the student to become knowledgeable in the administration and application of Reflex Zone Therapy. Core to the program is a good understanding of Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, Pathology, Biology, Chemistry and Philosophy. Basic and advanced Reflex theory, techniques and cautions are also covered in the classroom while the development and refining of tactile skills and abilities are developed in the Student Clinic Lab. Students are provided with the training to develop people skills necessary to communicate effectively with clients.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The program provides each student with the skills necessary to enable them to make a positive impact on their clients and develop a network of highly skilled practitioners, accepting referrals from other health care professionals. The tactile skills they develop in Reflex Zone Therapy prepare them for employment in the Naturopathic, Allopathic or Complementary health care system at the experienced level, having full confidence in their skills. The Reflex Practitioner will be able to work independently, accepting referrals from other health care professionals.
