Applicants planning to take courses for college credit are required to submit the following documents to the Admissions Office:

  •  A completed application for admission to the International Academy of Naturopathy
  • The application fee with the application
  • An official high school transcript, home schooling document or a GED certificate OR
  • An official transcript from each college attended demonstrating a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher on a scale of 4.0

PART-TIME

Students wishing to enroll on a part-time basis must comply with regular admissions requirements. IAN reserves the right to evaluate special cases and consider applicants who do not meet the usual criteria for admissions but who are able to benefit from instruction at IAN. Students may receive consideration for admission by providing a written request to the Registrar.

TRANSFERS/TEST OUT

Ian accepts applications for admission from students who wish to transfer from other colleges. Credit will be accepted for courses completed with a grade of 2.75 (C) or better. Transfer credits will be evaluated by the Registrar’s Office to determine which courses will transfer as equivalent to IAN courses. Once this evaluation is complete the Academy will discuss this with the student as to how these transfer credits will apply toward his/her program. IAN and the student will sign a formal Credit Transfer Agreement specifically detailing what credits will be accepted as transfer credits. The original will go in the student’s file and he/she will receive a copy of the Agreement.

Students may test out of a subject in the following manner: purchase text for subject to be tested out of, review text for 2 weeks, pay $75 US testing fee, take and pass Final Exam for the subject with score of 80% or higher, pay $50 US per credit hour awarded.
